In this Oceanography class, students will explore the four main branches of ocean studies: geology, chemistry, physics, and marine biology. They will begin by examining the shape and geology of the ocean floor, understanding its impact on the ocean as a whole. Subsequently, students will delve into the chemical composition and cycles within the ocean. The course will then transition to Physical Oceanography, where students will learn about properties such as pressure, temperature, density, as well as tidal characteristics and forces. Finally, students will explore the physical characteristics of the ocean, including the life cycles and nutritional requirements of marine plants and animals.
